Dickinson Plantation Restoration:

John Adams of Early Bird Construction in Forest Hills MD, recently completed the chimney and fireplace restoration on the historic Dickenson Plantation - a National Historic Landmark - in Kent County, Delaware.

The Plantation, including the brick mansion, reconstructed outbuildings, and a slave/tenant house, stands as a memorial to John Dickinson, the Penman of the American Revolution.

Dickinson, a framer and signer of the U.S. Constitution, was called upon to write many political documents as a member of the Continental Congress. He later served as chief executive of Delaware and Pennsylvania.

John has been involved with historic chimney restorations utilizing the Supaflu Chimney Restoration System for over 20 years!
