The 2010 Edition of NFPA 211, Standard for chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents, and Solid Fuel Burning Appliances has been released with the effective date of February 11, 2010.
The 2010 edition includes new material addressing mechanical draft systems, carbon monoxide detection and alarm, and sizing of masonry chimneys. Also a new chapter, Chapter 11, has been added to provide detailed direction for the inspection of existing chimneys.
